We believe in manufacturing a customer experience that ensures our customers get a quality product on time at a reasonable cost. We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer who is an innovative thinker and reliable team member. Skills and aptitude necessary to be successful in the role include:


  • Determine part inspection requirements from customer’s geometric blueprint features
  • Utilize PC-DMIS software to create DCC inspection path programs
  • Analyze and troubleshoot machine setups and inspections paths
  • Administer and/or edit previously created programs
  • Ensure part inspection programs are consistent with part number and revision level
  • Qualify and operate fixed-type CMM equipment as required
  • Operate computer programming hardware and software systems
  • Follow Work Instruction and Procedures
  • Keep a clean and safe area (continually 5s own area)
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned


  • Expert level proficiency developing DCC inspection programs, using PC-DMIS operating system
  • Expert level proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings (blueprints)
  • Expert level proficiency interpreting Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
  • Expert level proficiency navigating MS Windows™ and computer networks
  • Expert level proficiency in applied mathematics—algebra, geometry and trig
  • Intermediate level knowledge of surface-plate inspection techniques, measuring tools, and gages
  • Demonstrated comfort level interfacing with staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated job diligence, attention to details, and solid problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in a related technical field is preferred
  • Previous quality inspection work experience is preferred
  • Previous fixed-type coordinate measuring machine work experience is preferred



  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities
